Welcome to the 2nd Annual Wyco's Revenge Mountain Bike Race. Come challenge yourself and compete in the Wyco's Revenge or if you are afraid of the night we have the Wyco's Sprint. With both events you get to enjoy a fabulous fall evening riding some awesome single track built by the Trail Masons and its many volunteers.
What is the Wyco's Revenge you ask? Held every fall on the trails of Wyandotte County Lake Park, WR is a timed mountain bike event held on off-road single track trails. The event will challenge participants both mentally and physically. The full Wyco starts about an hour before sunset and riders will ride into the night completing the final laps in full darkness (lights are required). The Wyco’s Sprint is a timed mountain bike event held on the same course with participants completing 1 lap (No lights are required for the Wyco Sprint).
This years course will feature the same great trails as last year with the inclusion of the new sections that the Trail Masons build over the last year. The over 8 mile single track course will put an ear-to-ear grin on your face. If you have not had the pleasure of riding these fine trails be sure to come on out on Wednesday nights for a guided tour. We will also be having a special night ride on Friday the 13th - look for ride announcements.
New this year is the 1st annual Wyco's Revenge Chili Cook-off. You will get to enjoy some of the best mountain bike chili that the Midwest has to offer. Be sure to enter for some cool awards including the Golden spoon.
Fall just may be the best time to ride mountain bikes. Be sure to save the evening of October 5, 2013 for a fun filled evening.
